Welcome to CareerPulse Ltd (“CareerPulse”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all users and visitors (“you”, “your”, or “User”) accessing our website, mobile applications, services, and associated tools (collectively, the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms or our Privacy Policy, do not use the Platform.

1.0 Introduction

1.1 These Terms govern the use of the CareerPulse Platform by all parties including job seekers, employers, recruiters, and casual website visitors.

1.2 The Platform is operated by CareerPulse Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Our services are intended for use within the UK and comply with all applicable UK laws including employment, consumer protection, and data protection regulations.

2.0 Our Services

2.1 CareerPulse provides a digital-first recruitment platform offering:

• Access to a pre-vetted candidate pool
  
  
• Flat-fee and percentage-based hiring options
  
  
• Basic and advanced recruitment consulting
  
  

2.2 CareerPulse is not an employment agency under the meaning of the Employment Agencies Act 1973. We do not employ candidates or guarantee employment outcomes.

3.0 Account Creation and Use

3.1 To use certain features, you must register an account and provide accurate and current information.

3.2 Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and all activity under their accounts.

3.3 CareerPulse may suspend or terminate your account at its discretion if you:

• Violate these Terms
  
  
• Submit false or fraudulent information
  
  
• Misuse candidate or employer data
  
  

4.0 Terms for Employers

4.1 Eligibility: You must have the legal authority to represent the business you are registering on behalf of.

4.2 Job Postings:

• Must be accurate, lawful, and non-discriminatory
  
  
• May not solicit illegal services or violate UK employment law
  
  
• Must not mislead candidates regarding compensation, role, or conditions
  
  

4.3 Use of Candidate Data:

• Candidate information must only be used for lawful hiring purposes
  
  
• You must not disclose, sell, or distribute CVs or personal information
  
  

4.4 Fees and Payments:

• Flat Fee: £999 per unskilled role
  
  
• Percentage Fee: 10% of annual gross salary for skilled roles
  
  
• A £250 post-probation fee may apply at CareerPulse’s discretion
  
  

4.5 Payment Terms:

• Payments must be made upfront unless otherwise agreed in writing
  
  
• Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue unless stated otherwise
  
  
• Late payments may incur penalties or service suspension
  
  

4.6 CareerPulse reserves the right to reject job listings or decline service provision at any time.

5.0 Terms for Job Seekers

5.1 Eligibility: You must be legally eligible to work in the UK.

5.2 Information Submitted:

• Must be accurate and current
  
  
• You may not impersonate others or submit false qualifications
  
  

5.3 Recruitment Process:

• CareerPulse is not responsible for employer hiring decisions
  
  
• We do not guarantee interviews or job offers
  
  
• We are not responsible for third-party background checks
  
  

5.4 Account Restrictions:

• Users may maintain only one active profile
  
  
• We may delete accounts inactive for 24 months or more
  
  

6.0 Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 All intellectual property on the Platform, including trademarks, branding, text, graphics, databases, and custom software, is owned by or licensed to CareerPulse Ltd.

6.2 You may not reproduce, modify, or redistribute any part of the Platform unless expressly permitted.

6.3 Users retain rights over their submitted content but grant CareerPulse a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display said content in relation to recruitment services.

7.0 Acceptable Use Policy

7.1 You agree not to:

• Violate UK or international law
  
  
• Transmit any content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or obscene
  
  
• Disrupt Platform operations, interfere with servers, or attempt unauthorised access
  
  
• Collect information from users without consent
  
  

7.2 We reserve the right to remove content or accounts that violate this policy.

8.0 Third-Party Services and Links

8.1 The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

8.2 Where third-party integrations are used (e.g., Calendly, WhatsApp, analytics providers), your use of those services is governed by their terms.

9.0 Disclaimers and Limitations

9.1 CareerPulse provides services on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

9.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including suitability, merchantability, and non-infringement.

9.3 We are not liable for:

• Job offers or hiring decisions made through the Platform
  
  
• Any inaccuracies in job posts or candidate profiles
  
  
• Any indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity
  
  

9.4 Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the services in dispute.

10.0 Indemnity

10.1 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CareerPulse Ltd, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or legal proceedings arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
  
  
• Content you submit
  
  
• Any breach of these Terms
  
  

11.0 Privacy and Data Protection

11.1 Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy and governed by the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

11.2 By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12.0 Changes to These Terms

12.1 We may update these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on this page.
